Founded in 1969 by Helmut Kaufmann, Kaufmann Keramik has been a passionate family-run ceramics manufacturer for over five decades. What began with one man's vision and enthusiasm for genuine ceramic craftwork has grown into a dedicated family business, where everything revolves around the fascinating material of clay.
Every single tile is genuinely handmade by skilled craftspeople who learned and perfected their craft with enthusiasm in the Kaufmann workshop. The family deliberately chooses the path of hand production over automation, taking responsibility, patience, and time to create ceramics with radiance and unique personality that no machine can reproduce.
Today, the Kaufmann family continues this tradition of deliberate, dedicated craftsmanship, creating versatile ceramic systems that can be coordinated and combined - from tiles to wall coverings to room partitions - all poured as one piece with the same meticulous attention to handcraft quality.
